Soil Testing

Geotechnical investigations are performed by geotechnical engineers, or engineering geologists, to obtain information on the physical properties of the underlying soils beneath a site, in order to design earthworks, and foundations for proposed structures.

As this testing is the sole basis for designing the required foundation of a structure, it is crucial that an experienced and qualified geotechnical engineer/technician is used, with local knowledge in the proposed area.

We work very closely with several experienced and reputable geotechnical engineers, ensuring that the appropriate soil tester is chosen to suit the requirements of the project.

Our soil testing management services include but are not limited to:

• Residential soil testing to AS2870
• Laboratory testing
• Slope Stability Analysis
• Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) testing
• Standard Penetration (SPT) testing
• Cone Penetration (CPT) testing
